Hawazin Alotaibi is a multidisciplinary artist whose work merges sourced imagery with personal memorabilia. Growing up in Saudi Arabia, Alotaibi encountered flowers as representations of womanhood and femininity in cultural and religious texts distributed at school. With the rise of social media, she observed the same imagery appearing in scenes of male self-fashioning, revealing an evolving dialogue around gender representation.
