Biography
Jungwon Jay Hur (South Korea, 1996) is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in London, UK. She received her BA in Fine Art: Painting from Wimbledon College of Art in 2019 and recently completed her MFA in Fine Art: Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art in 2022.
Working across painting, printmaking, film, and ceramics, Hur explores a diverse range of media in her practice.
Her recent exhibitions include Contemporary Voices at Plataforma Gallery, Barcelona (2022), Why Don’t You Dance? at ASC Gallery (2022), and Hearth at Lokal Gallery, Helsinki (2021).
