Marco Bizzarri

Marco Bizzarri is a Chilean-Italian artist based in West Sussex, England. He graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2014). In 2017, he co-founded Centro ARC, an art residency located in the Humboldt Archipelago in the Atacama Desert of Chile.

In 2020, Bizzarri moved to London with his family after being selected for the Solo Residency at Unit 1 Gallery. The following year, he studied Painting at Turps Art School. His work explores themes of landscape, materiality, and geological time, often drawing inspiration from the stark and remote terrains of the Atacama Desert.

Recent exhibitions include Incuria at Galería Animal, Chile (2019), and Unearthed at Unit 1 Gallery Workshop, London (2020).
