Lucas Dupuy
Lucas Dupuy studied at City and Guilds of London Art School (2014-2017) and took home the Clyde & Co Art Award Prize. Recent exhibitions include: “It’s An Endless World!” (2023) PARCEL, Tokyo; “Formless Anxiety” (2023) TICK-TACK, Antwerp and “Florist Mews” (2021) Castor Gallery, London.
Lucas Dupuy has developed a distinctive artistic language that aims to find an intersection between both language and form, and in making things that bridge these elements. There is an evident influence of the monumental dynamic materials and constructs of Brutalist architecture of the 20th century in his paintings and drawings, which informs the relationship between perspective, composition and structure.
