Frank Kent

Biography

Frank Kent is an artist living and working in Dorset. He trained in joinery before completing his BA at Nottingham Trent University, followed by a postgraduate diploma at the Royal Academy Schools. During his time at the Royal Academy, he spent six months in Japan at Geidai, Tokyo University of Art, where he studied woodwork and lacquer. 

 

Selected exhibitions: 'Days' (2023) Karsten Schubert, London. 'Life and its most trivial particulars' (2021) Van Gogh House, London. He was awarded the Patricia Turner Prize for sculpture at the Royal Academy Schools in 2016.
