Archie Boon : Windmill Hill

‘Windmill Hill’ brings together twelve paintings of the area in Saffron Walden that reveal the elemental energy of the natural world through the changing seasons. With intuitive splatters and moments of unbridled painterly gesture, Boon’s canvases seem to release the dormant energy pulsating in winter vegetation, and later celebrate the bursts of colour and vitality that comes with spring.
